Dark Mofo Winter Feast and Nude Solstice Swim
Thursday 13 June 2024 - Sunday 23 June 2024 (Annual)
Hobart
Dark Mofo will present the Winter Feast across two weeks at Princes Wharf 1 (PW1), from Thursday 13–Sunday 16 June and Thursday 20–Sunday 23 June, showcasing the best of the best Tasmanian food, wine and spirits, alongside a surprise international guest chef, yet to be announced.
The Nude Solstice Swim has an increased capacity for 2024 and will again take place at Long Beach at sunrise on Friday 21 June, welcoming back the light after the longest night.
Night Shift—a highlight of Dark Mofo 2021—will return to present two nights of dark, dank, dancefloor debauchery, well into the early hours on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June.
Filling the art-shaped hole left in our midwinter revelry, the Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) will open a new exhibition, Namedropping, where Mona’s curators zero in on status and the human pursuit—often fast and ferocious—of looking good in the eyes of others.
Namedropping will open with a lavish Gala at Mona on Friday 14 June. Historically invitation-only, this year will be different, with a limited number of tickets will be made available for purchase.

agriCULTURED
Thursday 1 August 2024 - Sunday 4 August 2024 (Annual)
Launceston
A Tasmanian event exists that is slightly OFF centre; one where an unusual interlacing of agriculture and art is crafted into a program designed to disrupt. Centered around nature as our provider, something far greater and more powerful than us all, attending agriCULTURED enables the reclaiming of your own rhythm albeit in a wabi sabi world. There are moments when stories can only be felt, rather than told and this festival offers a physical and metaphorical journey through the agricultural landscapes of northern Tasmania.
Bespoke performances see the language of music and creativity translate into not just an exhibit of sorts, but a moment and one where those who stand beside us become more than just fellow attendees, but friends. Knowledge is power and agriCULTURED eventgoers have the opportunity to absorb expertise from the driving forces behind sustainability and food innovation within the agri-food sector.
Rewild yourself and return home motivated by innovation, opportunity and encouraged to pursue it the Tasmanian way. End the agritourism event with your cup filled plus a full plate at Conversations in the City, an experiential example of food, culture, and why Launceston was recently named a UNESCO City of Gastronomy.
